CRESTWOOD BRED BOWIES HERO BEATEN A HALF LENGTH IN G3

Bowies Hero, who was just coming off a victory in the G2-Mathis Brothers Mile Stakes, ran a close second to Om in the G3-Thunder Road Stakes at Santa Anita on Saturday. They finished the mile on turf in 1:33.54. Bowies Hero was bred, foaled, raised and sold by Crestwood Farm.

2018 STALLION OPEN HOUSE SET FOR SUNDAY, JAN. 7TH

Crestwood Farm will host their annual Stallion open house for breeders on Sunday, January 7th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their stallion barn on Spurr Road in Lexington, Ky.

Breeders are encouraged to register in person for the 2018 FREE season raffle for each stallion. Food and drinks will be served in a heated tent. For additional information on the Stallion Roster please visit the farm’s website at www.crestwoodfarm.com.

BOWIES HERO, WINS THE G2 MATHIS BROTHERS MILE!

Bowies Hero, won the $200,000 G2 Mathis Brothers Mile Stakes at Santa Anita on Tuesday. He finished the mile on turf in 1:33.46 to pick up his first Graded score. Bowies Hero now has a record of 11-5-0-2 and earnings of $381,325. He was bred, foaled, raised and sold by Crestwood Farm.

CRESTWOOD BRED, BOWIES HERO, 3RD IN G2-TWILIGHT DERBY

Bowies Hero ran a good third in the $200,000 Grade 2 Twilight Derby at Santa Anita on Saturday. The three year old Black-type winning colt by Artie Schiller now has a record of 9-4-0-2 and earnings of $255,325. Bowies Hero was bred, foaled, raised, and sold by Crestwood Farm.

Crestwood is excited to welcome two new additions to their roster; FIRING LINE ($976,000), a G1-Juvenile, track record setting three year old and close second to American Pharoah in the G1-KY Derby, as well as TEXAS RED ($1,767,300), brilliant 6-1/2 length winner of the G1-Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, and G2-Jim Dandy winner at three over MG1W Frosted.

CRESTWOOD GRAD DOMINATES $100K BOLTON LANDING S. AT SARATOGA!

Con Te Partiro, a two year old filly by Scat Daddy out of Temple Street, ran away from a competitive field in the $100,000 Bolton Landing Stakes at Saratoga on Wednesday. She swung five wide in the stretch, and took over at the sixteenth pole to win going away in a hand ride by 5-3/4 lengths.

Previously, she won impressively on debut at Keeneland and was named a TDN Rising Star. She followed that Maiden Special Weight win up with a fourth in the KY Juvenile Stakes at Churchill Downs, and then an impressive win here at the Spa.

Con Te Partiro was foaled and raised at Crestwood Farm for K.C. Garrett Farm LLC, just like her half brother Donworth .

ANOTHER BLACK TYPE STAKES WINNER FOALED & RAISED BY CRESTWOOD FARM!

B C Z Middleton, a three year old filly by Nobiz Like Shobiz (a past Crestwood Stallion), won the $50,000 Washington State Legislators Stakes at Emerald Downs this past week. B C Z Middleton was foaled and raised by Crestwood Farm for our client Bill Burns. Congratulations to Bill and all of the other connections on this big win!

3RD TDN RISING STAR FROM CRESTWOOD IN 6 MONTHS!

Jazzy Times, a three year old colt by Discreetly Mine out of Jazzy Melissa became Crestwood’s newest TDN Rising Star on Saturday with a big Maiden Special Weight win on Debut during the Derby undercard. Jazzy Times was Foaled, Raised and Sold by Crestwood Farm. Congratulations to all of his connections!
